ARNELLE Y. QUIAMBAO MD, FPSO – HNS
Dr. Arnelle Y. Quiambao is the Medical Director of YouPlus Intelligent Aesthetics. He is a certified fellow of the Philippine Society of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and Philippine Society for Cosmetic Surgery. He obtained his medical degree from the Far Eastern University – Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (FEU – NRMF) Institute of Medicine in 2002 before completing his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the same institution in 2007. This was followed by a fellowship training in cosmetic surgery under the Philippine Society for Cosmetic Surgery from 2008 to 2010.
Currently, Dr. Quiambao serves as a clinical professor at the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Section of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the FEU – NRMF Medical Center. He is a member of several scientific societies including ASEAN Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgery Societies, Philippine Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Philippine Academy of Dermatologic Surgery Foundation, Incorporated. In addition, he has been appointed Regional Key Opinion Leader and trainer by several companies, frequently teaching facial injectables and surgical techniques, both locally and internationally. He likewise serves as a Regional Advisory Board for Radiesse and Ultherapy Philippines.
Dr. Quiambao does not conform to a particular standard of beauty, but encourages his patients to become better versions of themselves. He achieves this by providing individualized treatment plans combined with the newest and innovative aesthetic technologies, extensive knowledge, and an artistic eye.
KAREN LIPANA-FRAGANTE MD, DPDS
Dr. Karen Lipana-Fragante is a fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society. She finished her pre-med course from the University of the Philippines, major in B.S. Biology and obtained her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas. Furthermore, she returned to the University of the Philippines to complete her 3-year dermatology residency program and placed second in the specialty board exam given by the Philippine Board of Dermatology in 2010.
Dr. Lipana-Fragante is an expert in Cosmetic Dermatology and has comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience in treating diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. Her work has been published in various journals of the Philippine Dermatological Society and was also presented on posters for the World Congress of Dermatology. She has received extensive training in cosmetic procedures including injectable agents (Botulinum Toxins and soft tissue fillers) chemical peels, sclerotherapy, and lasers. She also specializes in the treatment of severe acne.
KRISTY ELLEZA R. EVANGELISTA MD, DPDS
Dr. Kristy Evangelista is a Diplomate of the Philippine Dermatological Society. She is also a member of International Society of Dermatology, American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery, Inc. and European Society of Laser and Energy-Based Devices. She finished her pre-med course from University of Santo Tomas graduating Cum Laude in B.S. Biology. She graduated from Doctor of Medicine and Surgery (Bene Meritus) from the same institution. After passing her medical licensure exam, she pursued Clinical Dermatology training at Institute of Dermatology in Bangkok, Thailand.
She completed her 3-year dermatology residency program at Research Institute for Tropical Medicine and served as Deputy Chief Resident in her final year of training. She is a board-topnotcher in the specialty board exam given by the Philippine Board of Dermatology in 2018. Aside from her local achievements, she has also been awarded international scholarships by the American Academy of Dermatology, International Society of Dermatology, and American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery, Inc. for her research works in the field of dermatology.
She completed her fellowship training on Dermatologic and Laser Surgery at the prestigious Siriraj Hospital Mahidol University Department of Dermatology under an international scholarship grant. She underwent an elective program on Mohs and Reconstructive Surgery under the auspices of Dr. Tri Nguyen MD, FACMS, FAAD, FACph at Texas Surgical PA Dermatology and Dr. Howard Martin III MD at Sagis Dermatology in Houston, Texas. She furthered her training on lasers and surgery at Ministry of Public Health Department of Medical Services Institute of Dermatology in Bangkok, Thailand.
She continuously updates herself with the latest in dermatology, lasers and surgery through continuing medical education. As a dermatologist, she believes in individualized scientific and evidence based dermatology management and the due cognizance that must be given to patient safety.
FREMONT BASE MD, FPAPRAS
Dr. Fremont Base is a board-certified Plastic Surgeon and a member of the Philippine Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (PAPRAS).
Dr. Base finished his medical studies at the Cebu Doctors’ University College of Medicine in 1999. He then went on to take his Post-Graduate Internship and General Surgery Residency Training at Cebu Doctors’ University Hospital. After passing the Philippine Board of Surgery examination, he went on to take up his Fellowship in Plastic Surgery in the PAPRAS Training Program at the University of the East – Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Makati Medical Center, Rizal Medical Center, and Veterans Memorial Medical Center.
At present, Dr. Base is the Chairman of the Center for Aesthetics and Laser of Cebu Doctors’ University Hospital (CDUH) and is also the Department Head of the Maayo Aesthetic Institute (MAI). Aside From CDUH and MAI, he is also currently affiliated with Chong Hua Hospital, University of Cebu Medical Center, and Perpetual Succour Hospital, where he is practicing his expertise. At the same time, he is an assistant professor at the College of Medicine of Cebu Doctors’ University.
In between his private clinical practice and academic position, Dr. Base lends his time volunteering for surgical missions that help children with cleft lip and palate.
